Yesterday I watched some video of Canadian Members of Parliament debating the current situation with the protest in Ottawa.
I took exception to a Liberal MP stating that the protesters have made their point and need to go home because it’s not fair to “lockdown” all of Ottawa with the gridlock of their protest.
Not fair to lockdown Ottawa for a few days when Ottawa has locked down the entire nation for nearly two years? How can they not hear the grotesque hypocrisy of this?
It is part of the Marxist playbook to perpetrate this sort of hypocrisy. When leftist protesters burn down cities or tear down statues it’s called a peaceful protest. When freedom loving people drape a flag over a statue its called desecration.
FYI, the hanging of a flag upside down is not a disrespect to the flag but it is a sign of a nation in distress. It is an SOS. But no one reads anymore. They get their marching orders from lunatics on social media.
The government of Canada and many governments around the world have put small businesses OUT of business (while letting big tech and corporate America thrive, mind you). They’ve forced children into masks and isolation. They’ve driven up rates of suicide and drug addiction. They have separated people from their loved ones. And now they have the nerve to express inconvenience over these protests?
We all need to stand up to this! This is not about a vaccine. This is about our liberty. Because they will eventually walk back covid restrictions as they are finally doing in other parts of the world – but there will be more coming. They already “predict” new pandemics and cyber attacks. Well, it’s easy to make a prediction when you’re on the planning committee.
If you don’t stand against this tyranny, they’ll come for you eventually. Maybe not this time. And by the time they come for you there might be no one left to stand for you. So let’s all stand together. Make a statement with your actions, with your words, with your dollars.
